Hi, I'm Adam. Some of my clients have other names for me, usually in the middle of a grueling set during a tough workout, but we'll save those names for another time. Or better yet, I'll let you make your own!
I'm a fitness and nutrition expert and mental health advocate who helps change lives by teaching people to overcome their fears, bust through plateaus, and achieve anything they set their mind too.
I'm a local kid born and raised in Washtenaw County. I graduated from a tiny college in nearly the middle of Michigan (hence the name Midland, MI), called Northwood University. Hey to all my fellow Timberwolves!. During that time at Northwood I began to get serious about working out and my passion for fitness truly began. It would quite some time before I
turned that passion into a profession.
Fast forward half a decade and that's where my personal training story began.
I began personal training like you do most things in life, because your mom said so. It's true though. I was having a difficult time in life struggling to figure out who I was, and what I wanted. Life felt very stagnant, and if you've ever felt this way, you know stagnant is never a good feeling.
Thankfully, my mom intervened by signing me up for the personal trainer course that would eventually lead to my certification and current career. Thanks to that intervention, I now have the opportunity to change lives and positively influence people through health and fitness on a daily basis.
Over the past 5 years I have had the pleasure of working with people from every background and walk of life. My past and current clients range from 12 years old to 75 years old, everyone from your "average joe" to elite collegiate and semi-professional athletes. I've been able to work with a diverse population which has given me the skills to help anyone and everyone achieve their goals, regardless of who you are or where you're starting in their fitness journey.
I'm a certified personal trainer, nutrition coach, and corrective exercise specialist who combines both knowledge and experience to develop customized fitness and nutrition programs tailored specifically to the individual. My mission is to help you reach your goals in the quickest, easiest and most enjoyable way possible and help you live a happier, healthier, and more fulfilling life.
My specialties lie in nutrition and physique transformations, strength training and conditioning, hypertrophy and biomechanics, as well as corrective exercise, and injury prevention. I've helped people lose weight (some losing 40, 50, even 100lbs!), build strength (continuously setting new personal records), and improve their movement, reduce pain, and stave off injury (many of my clients come to me post rehab/physical therapy).
